We want to create a gourmet dining experience out of vegetarian, healthy, and environmentally friendly foods. We strive to make vegetarian dining fun and exciting. We want to make cuisine that is influenced by the flavors and styles of many cultures and completely animal-free. One Saturday a month we will make a three-course vegan meal including appetizer, …
I saw a story on food swaps on CBS3 and looked for a group and couldn't find one. This is for those who like to cook vegetarian and vegan foods and want to swap dishes once a month. We all cook and bring 12 servings to a meeting, and take home 10 servings. Below are links to relevant stories.
I'm deaf, and assume many who would join would be hearing people, so expect most of the communication to happen online. But other deafies welcome!

I hope to develop a group for friendly Philadelphians who have chosen to be meat-free (carnivores welcome too, but we'll only eat out at vegetarian destinations!) and who enjoy having meals with fellow vegetarians while having good conversation, and building camaraderie. I am still somewhat new to Philadelphia myself so this would be a great way to not only explore Philly's awesome foodie destinations but also make new friends. I hope to orga …
If we're at all serious about helping ensure a better future for animals, we have to start demanding much more from ourselves than we have previously. We have to dedicate ourselves to effective campaigning. We have to support local grass-roots struggles, both in the streets and with donations. We have to choose our targets strategically, with a mind to bottlenecks. In any case, we need to do more! Tired of HEARING about animal activism and want to actually DO something? Well, this is the group …

Each Suppers meeting has its own purpose and personality. There are only three non-negotiable principles common to all meetings: 1. that we all actively practice non-judgment 2. that we all prepare meals from single, whole, fresh foods with very limited processed food 3. that we all avoid commercial messages and the promotion of any particular diet, product or service Beyond that, facilitators create meetings based on their own particular passions, be it teaching people to prepare raw ve …
